A tasty twist of ingredients usually called for in traditional chef salads.
Ingredients:
- 8 cups mixed salad greens
- 4 oz salami, sliced and cut into strips
- 4 oz mozzarella, sliced and cut into strips
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions:
Place greens on serving plates, top each with equal amounts of salami, mozzarella, tomatoes and onions.
Mix oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper well, drizzle over each salad and serve.
