There are small flies invading my mom's kitchen. They are a green/greyish color and they are not fruit flies. We kill them, then clean and disinfected the entire kitchen, but they still come back. We don't know where there coming from. Please help!

Green tea leaves are quite effective in controlling those bugs. Try and let me know. Good luck.
Oops, it may very well be the beneficial green Lace wings that eat "white-flies"? If there are any larger than a regular housefly, have longer thin bodies, you might be killing something you should encourage? Go to Google.com, images, and type in "Lacewing" insect to see if that's the bug.
If so, you likely have a plant or vine that had white flies (gardenia bushes are the worst for them), and if so, gently capture them with an inverted med. glass jar, then when they fly to the top quickly slide a paper plate under the lid and carry them outside. You will not regret it if they are the coveted Lacewings! God bless and help you. He thinks of everything! : )
