Use Coffee Filters When Potting Plants

When potting plants or seeds, place a coffee filter in the bottom of the pot before filling it with soil. The filter stops the soil from leaking out of the holes in the bottom of the pot and making a mess in the saucer. It also helps keep your soil moist.

This is a great idea. I use this idea all of the time now. It's a lot less messy. : D
