Craft Uses for Petrified Wood?

I found a spot behind my house where someone dumped a load of petrified wood (sandstone not gemstone unfortunately). I would like ideas on what I can do with it. I can't use it as a paperweight as it sheds sand.

How about making pots out of them by putting air vine plants in them. Most the greenhouse can get them for you. Or how about fake plant in them.

Yes, you can make paperweights! Spray the item with clear acrylic can spray first, and let dry. Then apply polyurethane at least twice (drying in between).

Thank you for your reply. Making of pots would not be easy, but is possible. Spraying clear coat works very well. Apologies for not replying sooner. I'm self employed, when there's work i gotta.
