Miss Hope had just turned 1 when she passed away. These were taken three days before the oil spill! Hope was a terrier mix, as the pound calls them. I had began to have health problems that made me unable to work permanently. So my boyfriend went to the pound and rescued Hope to keep me company. He was at work a lot, due to having 2 jobs - grr!
Hope loved to go the beach; let's just say we had to spell the words "beach", "water", "bye bye", "load up", "French fries", and "park". She loved to snuggle and was prissy and spoiled. She was not a dog or animal, she was a reincarnated child. Hope is still very much alive in our hearts and memories.

I am so sorry that you lost your sweet pup. I would bet that Miss Hope would want you to be a family to another sweet little soul. You will know when you are ready. Blessings to you.
I am very sorry for your loss. I know the feeling and I can say it does get easier. She was a beautiful dog and you should be happy you all shared her short lived life together. God Bless.
Hope was a beautiful girl and I know what an empty feeling it is when they leave us. I lost a dog that was very very special and three years later a white boxer came into my life that has helped me heal.
What a beautiful furbaby Hope was! I know you miss her terribly. I just lost my cocker spaniel Amber and I am devastated and so sad. This is the unfun part of being in a dog's life.....but they give so much unconditional love and fun in return! I hope your heart heals enough to invite another furbaby to join your family some day. lots of hugs.
