Place butter in 15x10 inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees F for 1-3 minutes or just until melted; set aside. In large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish, combine flour, salt and pepper; mix well. Cut each potato into eight wedges. Shake or coat potatoes and chicken in flour mixture. Place in baking pan. Turn to coat with butter. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30-40 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and potatoes are tender, turning once (chicken temperature should read 180 degrees F).
