Here's another great use for Press and Seal. When you take a drink outside, you risk getting bugs in it. So put a small piece of Press and Seal over your glass leaving a drink hole or poke a tiny hole in it and stick a straw through it. You will drink bug free. For a recyclable way to do the same thing, you can also use those little bowl covers that look like mini shower caps and poke a hole in those for a straw, then they can be washed over and over! I have used both and it works great.

I save the lids from containers and fit them to different cups. punch a hole in them and you have a ready made lid for your glass. the pringles tops fit my narrow glasses.
Another great use for a great product. Thanks for sharing.
I found a great thing made in our USA it's a drink container protector I use them in the garden and even at the office (other peoples germs) mine is two years old and works great.
Prevention should be the first step before you cause drawing no-
see-ums, bees, flies, etc. to share you and your drinks.
Sprays and stuff work some what, however most bugs are attracted to open drink containers then to your body.
Odor and smells seems to be the attraction for bothersome bugs, so by having any drink container completely covered helps by not advertising it. Ever run from a Bee or Wasp?
A solid lid is a great way to reduce attracting things, no straws, no sippy lids. One that I found is made in the USA at Pittsburgh Pa works great, just Google drink container protector and youll find a bunch.
I even use one at work to keep other peoples germs from my coffee mug.
