Save Mixed Beans and Grains for Soup

When you buy macaroni, dried beans, peas, rice, etc., take out about a quarter of a cup and put in a separate jar. When you are ready to make soups or stews, you can use this mixture without having to either open a new package or buy a new bag just for an accent to your soup or stew.
