Keeping the inside of your car clean can be a chore, especially if you have kids. Dirt, crumbs, and toys can build up pretty quickly. Here are some tips to help keep your car clean:
- Regular vacuuming will help keep dirt and crumbs under control.
- Consider have a "no food allowed" policy if crumbs and spills get to be too bad.
- Remove any trash from the car every time you get out so that it doesn't build up.
- It you can, hang a trash bag somewhere in the car that can be periodically emptied.
- Take books, clothing and toys inside whenever you get home. Ask your kids to grab items that they brought in the car too.
- Grab your floor mats and shake them out in between vacuuming.
- Consider using seat covers that you can wash.
- Keep baby wipes or auto wipes in the car. The next time you are stuck in traffic or waiting to pick someone up, wipe down parts of the interior.
