Fog (Shenandoah National Park, Virginia)

While on a long weekend get away to the Skyline Drive, Shenandoah Valley, we encountered this mysterious fog at the top of a mountain peak. The rest of the drive was clear, except right along this particular piece of roadway. It really added some character to this photo

That is very beautiful. I was just reading what the chemistry related cause of this is, but who cares, it is soo beautiful! I am glad you caught it with your camera!

Where I live the mountains change their appearance frequently and I am often found out there trying to catch their lovely colors!
