Color Advice for a Sage Kitchen?

I have painted my kitchen a light sage, what colors will compliment? My cabinets are white. I would like an accent color.

I think apricot would be a good accent color for the sage green. Other choices are blue, yellow or even brown (a cafe au lait kind of shade).

A shade of brown or gray would go well. Look to nature: the greens are complimented by brown.

Red, Rose, Burgundy, Tangerine, Peach, Rust, Brown, Peanutbutter or may favorite Dark Hunter or dark Olive Green. Pick one that you like! You could also do a "Tri" color scheme meaning put blue (dark, med or light) & yellow with your sage green (they are next to each other on the color wheel). The white cabinets are neutral so they don't really count...

* My advice to everyone looking for a color scheme is to buy a great throw rug, set of canisters, picture, painting or print that you really LOVE, then use one or 2 of the colors from it to decorate around. This way, you can't go wrong!

Try a cranberry or burgundy or a desert tan, beige in the same tone. Here is a good color finder site. It shows colors of wall and trim so you get an idea of how color look together: http://www.benjaminmoore.com

My sage kitchen has copper accents. You could always do a terra cotta color too.

Hi,
I love green. Sage is one of my favs. I opt for a different level of green. Cream works well as a nutruel, but I think you are looking for an accent. maybe a plum color or just stick with a green. "Rosemary and Thyme." stick with the neutrals if you don't like contrast. I'm not sure, sage green and a lavender. think that might work. love the nature aspect.

PS: sorry, you so need silver/stainless steel accents, in my opinion, of course. I'm no specialist, but love the color/combo. Have fun making your home yours.
