Blasted Chicken

Prepare a whole fryer chicken (around 4 lbs) by washing it and rubbing a seasoning on it. I just rub salt and pepper on it. Place it in a baking pan, 9x13 inch cake pan, that has been sprayed with Pam. Place the chicken, breast side down, in a 400 degree F preheated oven. Center the chicken in the baking pan and DO NOT cover it.

DO NOT open the oven door, once you put it in to bake, until 1 hour and 15 minutes has elapsed. Take it out and let it set about 15 minutes and cut the chicken apart. It will be very brown and the juiciest chicken you have ever put in your mouth, GUARANTEED!

This is a Tried and True recipe and it is oh sooo easy to make.
