Makeshift Bathtub Stopper

If you can't find the stopper to your bathtub, the clean lid of a butter dish works well.

A golf ball works, too.

A medicine dosing cup works for me, but my drain is just a hole.

The top of an Enos bottle works well too.

I have also used a wash cloth stuffed down in the drain, and sometimes, a flat one with a medicine bottle pressed down the hole. Either one works great.

I wanted to take a bath and threw away my store bought stopper cause was old and nasty. I read on this site someone used upside don jelly jar for their sink and that got me thinking about CAPS. I looked through pantry and fridge and collected small caps (also check toilettries like lotion jars) Ultimately is was a seasonings top (like cumin) that upside down fits perfectly down the hole of the drain and acted as a stopper!
