Use Pipe for Towel Bars

A great way to save $ on towel bars is to purchase a small piece of pipe of your choice (I happen to like the copper) at the hardware store. You can simply attach these with curtain rod hardware.

When you compare this to the cost of a proper towel bar, it is a fraction of the cost.

Hi, A long time ago a plumber repairman told my parents to add about 1 /2 cup ice cream salt into the toilet bowl and flush down the drain monthly during the spring and summer to prevent tree roots from growing and clogging up the line to the street. Thier home was quite a ways from the street where the City sewer line was. They had a number of trees and were digging up the yard fairly often. It does not damage the tree as it catches the first roots coming into the line.
