Baked Ham in a Can

This is an unusual kind-of fun and very easy recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 5 lb. canned ham
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup pancake syrup
  • Advertisement

  • dash garlic powder

Directions:

Punch holes in 5 lb. ham can all over top with punch or ice pick. Bake ham at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes. Pour off liquid. Mix 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, 1/2 cup pancake syrup, and a dash of garlic powder together and pour into holes. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2-3 hours.

Servings: 10
Prep Time: less than 5 Minutes
Cooking Time: 2 1/2-3 Hours

I love the recipes you post, Robin! This one sounds like fun! I didn't know they sold canned hams anymore! My only addition to this recipe....make sure to wash the can before poking the holes in it.
