Dicey is 7 years old. She is a Jack Russell mix. She was a reward for my son after a horrible accident. My son was struck by a car in Feb 1999 and his total recovery took 14 months. We were unable to get him to do certain things so we bribed him with a puppy, Dicey did the trick!
Absolutely anything goes with Dicey, she knows about 50 words and listens to you intently. Dicey is a very loving dog and really a fine family member. She and my son are very close but we all enjoy her company. When spending time with my husband, she enjoys sitting like a person in his lap and keeping watch outside!

Dicey? How did she get her name? She is beautiful, as is the photo. I, too, had a terrible accident in June 1999. Give Dicey and your son a hug from me. Thanks for sharing.
What a cute little girl and how nice to give your son a therapeutic pet to love and to help him during his difficult time. She'll never be forgotten even when she's long gone. A special friend to meet that special need.
