I love this photo! Just a wonderful shot of some wild lupines growing at the Lupine Festival in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. I shot this while attending the Festival in the Spring as a part of the New England Photo Expeditions group, on www.meetup.com.
We go to many different areas and have organized shoots several times a month throughout the year; in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and even in Connecticut once in a while. We really have a great time together. Anyone can join with point and shoot cameras, SLR cameras, or if you want, you can even shoot film!
This is one of my favorite photos from Sugar Hill, NH's annual Lupine Festival.

I took some seed pods from my nephew's prolific lupin plants in Sugar Hill this past Spring! I am going to try planting them in Woodstock NY this fall. I guess I will soak some and not others and see what happens, since some people say to soak them before sowing in the fall, and others say not to.
seeds are poison
