Spread one sleeve of crackers on a baking sheet.
Melt 1 stick of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar on medium-low heat until bubbling.
Pour evenly over crackers.
Bake for 5 minutes on 350 degrees F.
Remove from oven and sprinkle one bag of milk chocolate chips over this; they will melt fast. Spread with the back of a spoon across the crackers. Pop in refrigerator or freezer until set and then break apart. Store in refrigerator.
Source: The recipe was given to me by a friend and the name of it is Pecan Bark Candy. It does have a "pecan" flavor so I am assuming that is where the name came from.

This sounds interesting but why is it called Pecan Bark when there are no pecans called for?
It has a "pecan" flavor to it. Other than that. I have no idea. I just know this is the name of the candy that was given to me by a friend.
I've updated Faye's source in the recipe to explain that there no pecans. I'll have to give this one a try as the holidays approach.
This recipe sounds delicious. I'll have to add it to my holiday party menu. Thanks for something so easy.
