This is a great way to peel a pineapple. By doing it this way you save more of the fruit, rather then wasting it by cutting in too deep, it also looks nice cut into slices.
First cut off the top and bottom.
Then cut the outer peel off, be sure not to cut in too deep, you still want to be able to see the holes.
Now find the pattern that is made by the holes left behind. They spiral around the pineapple. Make sure you find the longer diagonal line.
Start by following one of the lines in the middle of the pineapple, cut 2-3 holes out by cutting in diagonally on each side of the holes. Continue until the entire line is cut out.
Next, cut out the next closest line of holes. Do this until all of the diagonal lines of holes are cut out.
Slice anyway you would like and enjoy.

Quite pretty though for everyday eating, I wouldn't do that as it wastes a lot of fruit. But good for parties!
Ok, I like it. And I'm impressed. I don't see any waste as you can cut little bites from in between the holes. Can 't wait to try it. Thanks for the video, so I can watch it again in case I forget. LOL GG Vi
michawnpita,
The great thing about doing it this way is that it wastes less then the typical way of peeling the pineapple and you get pretty fast at doing it once you get the hang of it. I would guess you get about 20% more fruit this way.
