I spray mine down with the steam cleaner. Works like a champ every time!

All-Purpose Cleaner:

Mix 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup baking soda (or 2 teaspoons borax) into 1/2 gallon (2 liters) water. Store and keep. Use for removal of water deposit stains on shower stall panels, bathroom chrome fixtures, windows, bathroom mirrors, etc.

I keep a small spray bottle next to my shower, with a white vinegar-water mix (3 parts water, one part vinegar). Dissolves soap scum beautifully!

The odor isn't bad, and fades quickly, especially if you have a well-ventilated bathroom.
