I just purchased red grapes in the plastic clam shell package from Sam's Club. While washing them, my mother noticed that they were two different variety. The few on top were plump. The rest were regular to small sized grapes. Let the buyer beware. The package says "red grapes." Other stores are probably doing the same thing.

Take them back! They should give you your money back, and be sure to let them know that you will report them to FDA. It's against the law to deceive customers on purpose! Good luck.
Do you really think Sam's Club pays someone to stand there and put the grapes in the clam shells? no! They come already packaged like that. If anyone is trying to deceive someone it is the produce company not the store.
Don't assume all stores will cheat you just because a walmart owned store will. By the way, cindy s. I worked in a produce dept. and, yes, we did package bulk grapes in the store. (We didn't cheat people either.)
