Sauer Sig D'Coursey is a 7 month old Doberman. My in laws bought him for us in April. He is a decendant of champion bred dobermans. He is all puppy! He loves to chase the kids tackle them, fetch and chewing anything he can get his teeth around. It's how he investigates things.
Sauer is extremely smart, we had him potty trained in two days. If he had an accident, it's because we didn't let him out. He also learned come in three times. Generally 3-5 times repetitions and he knows what to do!
He is already extremely protective of me but plays well with the kids. Dobermans are a great addition to any family because they are bred guard dogs and extremely loyal. Historically, dobermans have been used by the military, police and fireman. Truly, they are a great breed of dog!

What a great looking dog!
Best looking Dobie I have seen in a while.They do look so much nicer with the ears cropped. I had one years ago when the kids were small. and they are very smart. She died at ten and I still miss her to this day.
Having had a Dobie I think this breed is not for everyone.Do homework on his breed before you decide to get one.
