This horse Sequoia loved children. I got him at an auction 18 years ago. Sad to say he passed away in the spring of 2011. He is missed by all the family, and he will never be forgotten. I got him when he was 3 years old, and he passed away at age 21.

It's so wonderful to hear about people adopting horses from an auction and giving them a good home. Too many of these poor, yet wonderful, creatures have gone to killer buyers for low bids to live out awful endings just to be made into glue. Thank you so much for giving this guy a wonderful life. I'm sure he appreciated it, too!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful picture. I worked for a large animal Veterinarian for over 15 years and I have seen many horses. I always loved it when a horse was bought at auction for a child. They always got a great home. Take care
