Filling:
Sift flour and salt into mixing bowl. Cut in shortening and cream cheese with pastry blender or as you would pie dough. Sprinkle water over crumbs, stirring with fork, until moistened and will cling together. Divide dough into halves. Roll each into a 9x11 inch rectangle. Spread each one with 2 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing. Top each rectangle with 1/2 of meat mixture. Fold in ends. Roll up the 11 inch side. Pinch ends together. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees F for 15-20 minutes. Cut each roll in 4 pieces. Serve with dressing.
