How to Save a Scratched CD/DVD

Spray the entire surface down with Pledge. Wait about 10 - 15 seconds. Wipe of Pledge until the product is completely dry. Something in Pledge smooths over the imperfections making the DVD/CD playable again. It is amazing! With 2 girls under 10, we were always having "accidents" that ruined their favorite movies or music. This tip has saved us a lot of disappointment and money.

Wow! I never knew about this. I was just browsing and stubbled upon this. I have so many DVD's that my 3 daughters 8 and younger have destroyed. Even my GASP copy of "The Notebook" ugh I'm gonna cry.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU... I can once again drive my hubby crazy by watching this extremely romantic movie and nagging him about why he can't be more romantic.

Thanks for the Pledge tip. Another tip on saving/cleaning scratched CD/DVD's I found in a local magazine was to use a condom. Yip, a condom. Apparently the lubrication on them is just perfect for this application.
