Our Alstromeria was in beautiful full bloom that day when I spotted this Swallowtail Butterfly with his "nose" in the Alstromeria blossom. I ran to get my camera, and took this photo. The Butterfly stayed awhile, sipping the nectar, his black and yellow hues contrasting to the Alstromeria leaf and blossom colors. It was indeed a special time in the garden.
