Maggie is about an 8 year old Maltese X. We rescued Maggie from the animal shelter, this past summer. She loves to sing in her own way by howling, lifting her head up like a wolf that howls to the moon. She starts this if we howl along with her.
Maggie does not mind if we are going out, to stay on her own. But when we get back, she barks continuously for about 10 minutes. It's her way of talking to us. Any other time she is a very quiet dog. She loves people and enjoys company.
This picture was taken, when her adopted grandma bought her a outfit. I'm not sure if she is impressed. :)

Maggie appears to be a very smart little girl. Such a good dog to be so patient when you are away from home. I'm sure she knows good people when she meets them, which you are by adopting a pet from a shelter, especially at an advanced age. So many people prefer a puppy while older pets are just as loving and perhaps even more needful.

I must say the boots didn't stay on for more than a minute. They were returned to the store. But Maggie still wears the coat on a rainy day. She has adjusted to it.
