Red Dye Bled on Quilt?

It rained on a quilt at a craft fair and some red color from the material on front of the quilt bled through to the back. Does anyone know can it can be removed?

Did you not wash the fabrics before making the quilt? Only color-safe fabrics should have been used. I don't think there is any way to rectify the problem. The color will bleed again when quilt is washed. I know this is heartbreaking after putting so much work and time into the quilt. I wish there was a solution.

Thanks for your concern.
The quilt was a gift to our non-profit org. from a quilting club. We had intended to raffle it. It is a beautiful king sized one.
