Ingredients

  • 3 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 3/4 cup salad oil
  • 3 cup milk
  • Advertisement

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and nutmeg. Add salad oil, eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat well and bake in hot waffle iron.

Robin, I bought a Belgian Waffle maker and years ago I knew a lady who made Belgian Waffle cookies - like an eggy, kind of firm - would this German Waffle be like this. I have been forever trying to find that recipe. It's like a flavor of a thick pizzelle. Thank you, Joanie
