My mother-in-law has a Boston Terrier and she won't get out of her dog bed. She has to pick her up and put her outside to potty. She walks fine and acts fine. She just won't get out of her bed. Please help solve this problem. There are no children around.

Is this a new behavior? If no one will pick her up to take her outside, will she just go potty in her bed? And what about when it's time to eat/drink. Does she get up for that?
I wonder what would happen if her bed was put away for a couple days. I guess it depends on whether she wants to stay in the bed b/c of something like anxiety, or if she's just too comfortable to bother to move. You (or your mother-in-law) could always consult with the vet.
