I am hoping some one can help me please. I saw a recipe a week or two ago and it had just two ingredients flour and buttermilk. My grandson wants to make whatever they are, but I am unable to find it anywhere. Please can you help us? I am sure it was for scones or biscuits, but that is all I can remember.

Go to Betty Crocker and then Rolled Milk Biscuits, all you use is 2 1/4 cups Bisquick and 2/3 cup milk. Mix together and put into oven. Very easy. I'm sure you have Bisquick in UK, if not check Betty Crocker for the name of product in UK. Hope this works, it's very easy and I make them all the time. Good luck.
I know one that uses three ingredients: 1cup +2 tbsp self rising flour, 2 tbsp non fat plain yougart, 1/2 c. milk
Mix all ingredients together, spray muffin pan with cooking spray, fill about half way, ( I spray tops of biscuit mixture, as well) bake on 425 degrees F for about 15 minutes or til browned.
Here is a 2 ingredient recipe for biscuits that uses buttermilk + self-rising flour, with optional dab of sugar. butter:
