Make large pattern pieces from inexpensive shower curtains. The pattern pieces will last much longer than paper patterns.

What a great idea! Just hope it would not prove too slippery when working with the pattern pieces.
Great thinking! My sewing teacher advised to roll pattern pieces around long tubes such as those used for gift wrap; repeated folding is hard on paper. I imagine the same advice would be beneficial with plastic pattern pieces as well.
Good idea, but it looks like 2 people today are both from Cortez, CO. and must belong to the same sewing circle. Seem to have similar helpful hints, Thanks to both (duckie-do & fossil1855)
