I can't get the cover off my wired smoke detector. It is beeping and I need to change the battery. How does the cover come off?

I have the same type. One of mine twists off and the other has a small clip like little pin that just pulls out. Check carefully as mine is the same color as the cover and you have to look closely to see it.
I guess all companies are different.
