Thicker Pizza Crusts

We make a lot of homemade pizzas and I've discovered how to make a thicker crust using the store crust mixes. Follow the package instructions, then cover the ball of dough and let it "rest" for a half an hour. Then spread the dough to fit the pizza pan. Cover the crust with a cuptowel and place it in the oven with several pans of hot water; let it rise for an hour to an hour and a half, replacing the hot water several times. Remove the pan and complete the pizza and bake as you normally would.
