"Ice Cream Cone" Banks

I made these piggy banks for gifts this year for Christmas. I saved my empty Juicy Juice containers (46 oz.), washed them out, cut out a slit in the side for the money, and painted them. Acrylic paint is the best. I still haven't decided if they need sprinkles or a cherry on top yet. Maybe both.

I liked the cherry on top. I bought some round wooden ball knobs. I painted them red, cut a piece of dowel rod to fit in the knob and drilled a hole in the lid of the juicy juice jug. I used wood glue to attach the knob to the dowel rod and put the dowel rod in the lid with hot glue and you have a cherry on top.

Sprinkles would make it really cute - I think I want to try that! What kind of juice is it that has those containers? Thanks!

Those are so neat and it is using something you already have on hand. Good job on the project and thanks for the idea.
