Most of us know that planting a garden is one of the cheapest ways to provide your family with fresh vegetables. My husband is the chief gardener in our household, and since it is his domain, he gets to decide what to plant. Let me tell you right away that he loves fresh tomatoes. I, on the other hand, hate tomatoes and have not eaten a raw tomato in over thirty years. Imagine my amazement when he strategically placed 16 tomato plants in our garden! It gets worse, each of those plants thrived and grew over six feet tall! That's a lot of tomatoes! The kitchen is my domain, so it became my task to figure out what to do with his abundant harvest.

Hey good one I have been doing something like this for years. its so good when you have been out and you want something quick to eat. You just walk to your freezer and get out what ever you want and throw it into a pot and by the time you have got clean up or what ever your meal is ready to eat. I have allways got a few roast dinners done up the same way all you need to do it pop them into the micro-wave. They are allso good for the kids if you are ever away as well. Thanks again and good look to you. And happy eating.
I haven't gone to quite as much work as you but I freeze all my tomatoes just wipe off and freeze whole the skin comes off in the pot floats to the top and is easily picked off.
