This is just a tip for non-USA residents that I have finally managed to work out! Canning, for all of us Europeans, means preserving or bottling! Not a tin in sight!
I have deleted so many tips and recipes because I was under the impression that canning meant something that has baked beans in it! Just for information only.

I don't have a comment, I actually have a question, if somebody could answer it I would be so happy. I'm making a 125 4oz jars of 5 different jams for my daughters wedding coming up on the 28th of april.i have already made 105 jars and i am getting ready to do the last batch..my question is they usually say 1/4 headspace,but this one says 1/8 headspace.i heard you can use the rim threads.so if someone knows the answer plz let me know.thanx..
