Use Every Bit Of Vegetables

Waste not, want not garden veggies. When you get a cauliflower, broccoli, or cabbage (with outside leaves) and there is a stem, or some extra leaves, do not discard them: slice them small and use in soups.

All foliage from your garden, brassicas, even radish leaves can be used for a yummy dish called greens. Slice the leaves and boil with a small amount of water and a bit of lemon juice, turning until it's all cooked. Add a little sea salt and it's yummy. Do not mistake this for the nasty canned spinach your mom made you eat. Greens are yummy.
