Make the most of your cookie making time by using simple ingredients to make 3 different kinds of killer good cookies.
Variations use:
Or
Or
To make all type cookies: Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. Each recipe makes 4 dozen cookies.
Pour dry cake mix in a bowl. Add egg, butter and water. Stir with a wooden spoon (batter will be stiff).
For Mallowmar Type Cookies:
Shape 1 tsp dough into a ball and place on greased sheet 2" apart. Bake for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and place half of a large marshmallow (Cut or pulled apart width wise) gently in center of cookie, pressing down lightly. Place back in oven and bake 2 minutes more until marshmallow just starts to turn golden. Remove from oven and place on cookie rack. In a pan bring milk (or half and half) just to a boil. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Top each marshmallow with about 1/2 tsp of chocolate mixture (you can double if you want more :)
For Fudgy Mint Cookies:
Prepare batter as above, then roll balls of dough in 10X sugar and place on cookie sheet. Bake 7 minutes and remove from oven. Gently place one junior mint in the center of each cookie.
For Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies:
Roll dough in 10x as in Fudgy Mint cookies and place on sheet. Bake for 7 minutes. Gently place one half of maraschino cherry on top and press lightly. Make chocolate topping as above and spoon a small amount on top of cherry.
You can be really creative with these. Try topping with Rolo candies, Mini Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey Kisses etc. Drizzle melted white chocolate over Mint cookies and dust with crushed peppermint candies - you get the idea!
