My friend, Karen, who lost a 15-year battle with breast cancer, decided to just go ahead and shave her head when starting chemo, knowing from the last bout that she would lose it anyway. However, she let her nieces and nephews (8 of them) ages 4 to 12 years. She was a brave woman in many ways!

I am sorry to hear that you lost your friend. Good friends are hard to find so your lucky to have gotten to have such an awesome person in your life. may you see her again in the afterlife.
