What do you do for activities at a Sr. Citizen Prom since most of them can't dance for very long? Ages 60-80.

I just happen to work at an adult day care...I'd invite a dance instructor(s) (preferrably a man and a woman) to start off the dance with a performance. Maybe they can even do some fancy steps during intermission times and interact with the seniors throughout. You can probably get them to volunteer their services as long as you allow them to present some form of advertising for their company. You may want to check with your local chamber of commerce to see if there are any senior dance groups that would also be willing to perform for your event. Allow for several periods of rest, maybe have a 50/50 drawing and/or door prizes to keep smiles on the crowd as well as giving opportunities to have a snack/rest. Hope this helps!
Karaoke! They may not be able to dance for too long but they will sing all night! Call a local karaoke supplier and they should be able to hook you up with a KJ(karaoke jockey).
