Instead of paying extra money to buy the individual size fruit cups or pudding cups at the grocery store, just buy a large can of your choice of fruit or a couple packages of instant pudding mix. Then fill small reusable plastic containers with enough for a week's worth of lunches or snacks. It only takes a few minutes, and when you're ready to make a lunch, you just grab one out of the fridge!

I wash out yogurt containers and use those for individual jello, pudding, fruit
Most dollar stores have the small (4 oz) gladware type throwaway container that come in a 10 pack .. I use these for pudding, fruit, dips, pasta salads, jello anything!! I usually use a large glass measureing cup to make pudding and jello and pour the snack into cups before it hardens up!

Another great idea is if you know anyone with a baby(ies), get them to save the Plastic food contaners, i use the for someone who has to have a minced/pureed diet. theses are great since they come in two sizes. they are great for carring around in lunches
We keep our fruit cups in the freezer, they can help keep the rest of the lunch cool & by lunch time, they're thawed and cool to eat. (when bowling the fruits up, just allow a little room for expansion.) Gelatin cups can, also, be frozen.
