Add Salt to Toothpaste

I was pleasantly surprised when I sprinkled a little salt on my toothpaste before brushing. My teeth seemed to sparkle after rinsing. I have used baking soda before, but the salt worked better.

I actually read in an old book written by a dentist that if you have no toothpaste you can brush your teeth with warm salt water.

Beware of using salt too often (more than once a week) because it is an abrasive. Older people with worn enamel are better off not using it at all.

I know it shines on healthy enamel, but please be careful. Cay from FL
