Save the fabric when you turn a winter long-sleeved shirt into a summer short-sleeved shirt and use this fabric to patch the knees or add length to kids pants. The shirt can then be worn with the pants as a cute matching set! This tip works great for kids, but can also be used for adult clothes as well.

Cool idea-kinda takes me back to the 70's-the google ad for $80.00 custom shirts does't fit in there tho-oh well. Pamela.
In observing all the people wearing "jeans" on the street, I am under the impression that it is quite the style to wear them full of holes. It even costs more to buy a pair that already has holes! If you are a style dinosaur, like me, I would use iron-on patches and then stitch around the outside of the patch for security.
