This a picture of the sequoia trees in front of the Washington County Courthouse. They don't look very large in the photo, until you notice the building behind them, which is 3 stories tall! They were planted in 1886 and are about 150 feet tall.
My husband took the photo last week during one of our rare snowfalls. It was perfect, just enough to play in, but not enough to cause traffic problems. He took the kids sledding and then stopped downtown to take some scenic photos. I love the way that he captured the snowfall.

That's an amazing picture. Thank you for sharing!
Just gorgeous! The snow falling really makes it special. I hope it is ok if I save a copy to use as background on my desktop.
As an avid photographer, I can tell you this shot is very nice. I am a "displaced" Oregonian, and my 'peeps' have kept me up on the weather.
Keep that camera with you! And please keep sharing with us?
So glad you all like it. My husband doesn't think it is that good but he has very high standards :) Feel free to use it, ginnee, and anyone else.
Have a great day!
I am glad you all like the photo so much, thank you!! Here is a link for a higher resolution version for your desktop.
