Church Dining Hall Table Decoration Ideas?

I'm not sure I know what sort of look your going for, but at this time of year anything Spring like and natural is lovely. Blooming twigs in vases of water: pussy-willows. Use tea-lights sitting in bowls of pretty coloured buttons, along the length of the table. Use glass Mason jars and fill with small stones, or glass globs you can buy in bags at "Dollar stores", and put tea lights inside these or put stems of flowers or twigs in these.

Instead of using the same old white linens (my Uncle was an Anglican Priest so I'm working with memory here), why not use spring patterned vintage sheets for a tablecloth.

These can be quite lovely in muted pretty colours, florals etc. and your always able to pick-up a King Size for about $12.00 or less at a second hand shop. Just give the sheet a good wash with Oxyclean or "like" product to get it all sparkly clean.
Have fun thinking outside the church hall box... ha ha.
