I have had pigmented spots on my stomach for years. I have tried creams suggested by the doctor, but it doesn't help for the spots and also leaves black scar marks. Please help me.

Dermabrasion or chemical peel will help lighten, but laser treatment is the best. None are cheap, but are worth the investment if these spots bother you. Look for a board certified person.
They are on your tummy? I can't help but wonder why they bother you so much when, most likely, no one other than yourself or your significant other will ever see them? Perhaps you could just accept them as a part of 'you' and celebrate that they are not a life threatening problem and that everyone has some sort of physical flaw? Some people have bad teeth, or a missing finger, arm or leg or have skin cancer. Other than simply accepting that you have pigmented spots on your tummy you could take bkvander's advice and have them removed by a professional.

I get black spots on my face around the fore head, nose, and lips. The color of my lips is getting darker. I have suffered from this problem since I was 3 years old. What should I do?

I am looking for vitamins, supplements and diet recommendations for someone with pigmentation marks.

If your pigmentation marks are white spots that do not tan - try this: Selsun Blue hair shampoo. Use it as a body lotion. Rub it on at night, then shower in the morning. After about 3 days you should see a very slight difference. It is because of the lack of selenium in your skin. (10/23/2006)
