My pit bull puppy is constantly humping my niece's legs and knocking her down. I need some help on getting him to stop this behavior before one of them (dog or girl) gets hurt. Please help! Thanks.

Have you gotten him fixed yet? It might not completely stop the behavior, but it will at least reduce it. Plus it's healthier for the dog.
I don't know about dogs, but your post reminded me of a neighbor lady I used to have. She was single Mother and had a son about 10 years old, and when she would be standing in the doorway talking to somebody she had a tendency to stand with one leg across the other and her son would straddle the leg and rub up and down.
This is a basic training issue so any obedience class should be able to help.
The important thing is to first teach the dog to know that the word "No" means that they should stop doing something. Attach a short leash to the dog's collar and give it a firm, but gentle yank when you say "No". Use a commanding voice when you say the word. The dog recognizes your tone as much as the word itself. Once the dog knows the command then you can take the leash off and the dog should still respond to the voice command and stop the bad behavior.
Also, if your dog can learn to sit, stay, and has a bed that they can be sent to then any of those commands might also work to prevent them from harassing somebody. An obedience class can help with all of this. Or, even a book about obedience training at home.
Get him fixed. Right now in dog years, he's the equivalent of a "horny teenager" and that won't change until he's snipped.
Yes, he needs to be neutered. But this is also a sign of dominance. He needs to be told firmly, but gently, not to do it and then reward his good behavior. But, neuter him asap.l
Forget the Obedience class. Talk to your Veterinarian because this boy needs to be castrated ASAP and it's pointless to reprimand him he is only doing what his hormonal instinct tells him. Good luck.
