How do I store limes?

Well, it depends on how long you want to keep them. If just for a few days, you can keep in a fruit bowl on the table. They will keep longer in the refrigerator, a week or two. If you want to keep them a really long time, you can store them submerged in water in the refrigerator. Change the water once a week. They will keep upwards of 2 months like this. This can be done with lemons also. If you are saving them mostly for the juice, that can be squeezed and frozen for a good long while. I keep lemon, lime, and orange juice this way, to use in cooking.
