Pumpkin Spice Dip

Delicious appetizer/snack with apples or cookies (ginger snaps or vanilla wafers). I first tasted a similar recipe in Atlanta, Georgia a few years ago and later found this particular recipe in an Oklahoma magazine. The recipe was from a Norman, OK caterer.

Ingredients:

  • 4 (8 oz.) pkgs. softened cream cheese
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

Blend together all ingredients until smooth and dip is free of lumps. Refrigerate until cold. Garnish with grated fresh nutmeg or crumbled amaretto cookies. Serve with sliced applies (red and green), ginger snaps or vanilla wafers.
